It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald L. Mosher of DeKalb, Illinois, who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 106, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Mosher and Leila Mosher (Johnson); his wife Louise Mosher; his sister Dora Koski; his brother-in-law Carl Koski; his nephew David Koski; his son-in-law Leonard Grotenhuis; and his close friend Norma Bray.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judith Grotenhuis (late Leonard), Jennifer Hoerdeman (Robert) of Plainfield, IL and Janet Mosher (Ken Bumbaugh) of Rio Rancho, NM; his grandchildren, Todd (Dawn), Jeff Grotenhuis (Erin McCarthy) of Loveland, CO, Sara Hoerdeman (Joe Gange) of Batavia, IL and Erica Hoerdeman (Brad Houshour); his great grandchildren, Matthew, River and Audrey Grotenhuis; and his grandchildren, Asher, Eleanor Hoerdeman and Morgan Houshour.
Memorials may be made to the Oak Crest Good Samaritan Fund and the First Congregational Church Endowment Fund.
