She was predeceased by: her parents, Jaye Smith and Patricia Smith (Coffee); and her sister Vernetta Knutzen. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Reiners (Dave) of DeKalb, Charlotte Estes (Eric) of DeKalb, Cathleen Lamont (Timothy) of DeKalb and Phillip Johnson of DeKalb.

Memorials can be made to the family to be established at a later date.
