It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Ann Peel of DeKalb, Illinois, born in Decatur, Alabama, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Langley and Martha Langley (Brooks); her daughter Nicola Vogelgesang; her sister Barbara Barrett; and the father of her children Jerald Peel.
She is survived by: her children, Victoria Peel, Moira Peel, Mark Peel (Frances) and Jennifer Peel; her grandchildren, Megan Vogelgesang, Michael M. Joyce, Ryan Peel and Sean Peel; and her son-in-law Mike Vogelgesang. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
