Though Belsur may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Belsur leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Belsur Bristow and Maude Bristow; his wife Mary Gaines; and his siblings, Jim Bristow and Geri Sims.
He is survived by: his children, Janie Bristow (Ray), Jennifer Meyer (Jeff) and Bill Bristow (Mary); and his grandsons, Adam, Joshua, Cody, Benjamin and Justin. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren as well as many nephews, nieces, and close friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (324 N 3rd St, DeKalb, IL 60115).
