With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William J. Cooley of Deerfield, Illinois, who passed away on September 7, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jo Ann; his sons, Liam and Mac Cooley; his parents, James Cooley and Stella Cooley; and his siblings, Patricia Inda (Michael), Robert, Dennis (Shirley), Dianne Zuzga (late John), Timothy, Joseph (Johanna), John (Phyllis) and Stephen Cooley O. Carm.

Due to Covid-19, masks are required and no loitering is preferred.

“Jo Ann, Like Bill I grew up in Chicago and met Bill on our first wild train ride to the Carmelite seminary back in 1957. It was so good meeting up again with Bill and you and the boys (who were very young) in 2003 at our reunion in Niagara Falls. I enjoyed keeping in touch with you and Bill with Christmas greetings. I know you must have wonderful and cherished memories of Bill to sustain you during these trying times. I will keep you in my prayers. Sincerely, Bill Knuth”
