He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathryn; his brother Ronald; and his parents, Herman and Alice. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Debby Sattler (Barry) and Elizabeth Weismehl; his grandchildren, Mike Herbener (Stacy), Brynna Herbener, Jonah Sattler and Kyler Sattler; his great grandchild Elliot; and his brother Philip Weismehl (Veronica). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
