He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sheets and Eva Sheets (Partridge). He is survived by: his sibling Audrey Stahlheber (late Don); and his children, Michael (Christy) and Lynn (Greg). He is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces and a nephew.
