He was predeceased by: his parent Rose Freeman; his parent-in-law Dora Stone; and his sibling-in-law Florence Kaplan. He is survived by: his husband Zelda; his children, Sandra Kravitt (Greg), Diane Ruder (Lawrence) and Richard Freeman (Madeleine); his grandchildren, Meredith Janik (Jacob), Dana Ring (Gregory), Rachel Kravitt Kalvakota (Nithin), Michael Ruder (Erica), Josh Kravitt (Sari), Jamie Freeman and Alexis Ruder; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Jackson, Zoe, Caleb, Olivia, Emma, Amelia and Tavi; his siblings, Barry Freeman (Patsy) and Marc Freeman (Nancy); his parent Harry Freeman; his parent-in-law Sam Stone; and his siblings-in-law, Irene Goldman and Melvin Goldman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
