He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Caraher and Elaine Caraher; his in-laws, Charles and Shirley Keller; and his nephew Kyle Caraher.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadette; his children, Christopher (Madeleine), Corinne (Trevor), Matthew and Lauren (Eric); his grandchildren, Rosie and Charlie; his siblings, Michael (Jamie), Timothy (Alla), Daniel, Nancy Andersen (Brad), David (Karen), Susan and Karen Quirk (Tom); and his nieces and nephews, Jason, Ryan, Brian, Sean, Colin, Brady, Megan, Brendan, Connor, Patrick and Daniel.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home (1787 Deerfield Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at 1775 Grove St, Glenview, IL 60025.
