With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Amedeo of Deerfield, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 28, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Collins and Marie Collins. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Colby (Scot), Joe Amedeo (Trini) of Gilbert, AZ and Craig Amedeo (late Sue) of Lake Zurich; her grandchildren, Ryan, Jordan Colby and Allison Amedeo; and her sisters, Doddie Smothers (late Jack) and Jackie Fleming (late Tom). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
