He was predeceased by: his siblings, John Guare (Irene), Anne Marie O'Connell (John), Frances Heneghan and Mary Lehnhardt. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Guare; his children, Francis "Frank", Matthew and Gregory Guare (Kimberly); and his grandchildren, Kerry, Grady and Avelynn Guare.
