He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Marks (Stretch); and his granddaughter Verity Marks-Kandel. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Mason (Larry), Ellen Marks (Alex Kandel) and Jami Jacobs (Michael); his grandchildren, Samantha Renton (James), Sarah Mason, Zoe Mason, Caleb Marks-Kandel, Ethan Jacobs, Ben Jacobs and Hope Marks-Kandel; and his sister Roberta Douglis (Gene).

“Dear Susie, Ellen, Jamie and families, George and I were so sorry to learn of your Dad's death. David truly was one of the kindest and gentlest men we knew. He was devoted to and proud of his family. I know that the loss is so great for you all. Now he is joined for all eternity with your Mom.. We will be over in Ft. Lauderdale attending grandson Luke's senior sports recognition, but we do hope to watch the funeral on April 12, if it is on-line.. Love and sympathy, Anne and George Langford”
