While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marge Lyons and David Lyons Sr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Peg Scholtes, Cathy Spear, Liz Hanzel and Johno Lyons; and his children, Patrick Lyons, Julia Harris and Maggie Lyons. He is also survived by five beautiful grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Christ Church (100 N Waukegan Rd, Lake Forest, IL 60045).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made toward funeral expenses through Symonds Funeral Home.
