She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley Schlappi; and her sister Terrilyn. She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Schlappi of Deer Creek and Darin Schlappi (Lusi) of Naperville, Ill.; her grandchildren, Isabelle and Deven Schlappi; her brother John Peterson (Linda); and her siblings-in-law, Sharon Ogg (Jim) of Morton, Steven Schlappi (Kathy) of Morton and Dennis Schlappi (Karilyn) of Morton.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the New Castle Bible Church (17931 Dee-Mac Rd, Mackinaw, IL 61755). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
