It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Meredith Fiesler of Decatur, Illinois, born in Verona, Missouri, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Jennie Hudson; his parents, Erwin Fiesler and Bertha Fiesler (Krueger); and his son Timothy Fiesler. He is survived by: his children, Dr. William L. Fiesler of Decatur, Thomas Fiesler (Jane) of Decatur and Cindy Kathe (David) of St. Charles, IL; his daughter-in-law Bonnie Fiesler of Decatur; his sister Carol Williamson (Ed) of Coral Gables, FL; his granddaughter Melissa DeDecker (Brian); his great grandchildren, Wyatt and Weston of Adel, IA; his granddaughters, Amanda Bordewick (Ryan) of Downers Grove, IL and Melinda Mazure; his great grandchild Brady of Reston, VA; his grandchild Meredith Hottinger (Eric); his great grandchildren, Hudson and Emilia of Nesconset, NY; and his grandchildren, Jessica Kathe of Milwaukee, WI and Kevin Kathe of Seattle, WA..

Memorials may be made to the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church.
