William Ernest Barnes Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2022, at the age of 87, William Ernest Barnes (Decatur, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola Dorene (Tolliver) and Willie Lawrence Barnes; and his sister Betty Heacock. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Jean Barnes (O'Dell) of Decatur, IL; and his daughter Jodi Barnes (JB Maddox) of Athens, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
