He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bryan and Ruth Jane Reece (Williams); his spouse Dorothy Hicks; his siblings, Eileen DeVivo, Mary Piercey and Allen Reece; and his son-in-law Steven Carter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Jean Reece and Marsha Kay Carter; his grandchildren, Amy Kirk, Brian Kirk, Adam Buxton, Erin Buxton, Kresta Braswell, Seth Saccocio and Saria Saccocio; his great grandchildren, Jessie Kirk, Justin Kirk, Grace Buxton, Brooks Buxton, Carter Saccocio, Ella Saccocio, Leelynn Braswell and Lynnlee Braswell; and his sister Shirley Ann Kelley.
