She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne; her sisters, Grace Healt and Marion Miller; and her children, Donna Eastin (Lyle), Brian Walkup and Pam Wolfe (Chuck).

She is survived by: her sister Eleanor Kotary; and her son Tracy Walkup (Karen). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Virginia Walkup's name to Carle Cancer Center in Urbana, IL.
