He was predeceased by: his mother Elinor Darlene Butts (Dickey); and his sister-in-law Jen Kush. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Elizabeth Kush; his children, Meg E. Cravens (Brad) of McKinney, TX, Scott T. Butts (Erika Correbor) of Dallas, TX and Nicholas P. Butts (Matthew Woppel) of Chicago, IL; his grandson Reece Ladd Cravens of McKinney, TX; his father Thomas Lee Butts, Sr. (Carolyn) of Decatur; his brother James Butts (Dawn) of Peoria, IL; his siblings-in-law, Allison McCue (Mark) of Springfield, IL and Andy Kush of Livermore, CA; and his nieces and nephews, Mellisa, Amanda, Molly, Ethan, Cooper, Tate and Liam.
