Timothy Wortman Sr. Obituary

We bid farewell to Timothy Wortman Sr. of Decatur, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 2, 2025 at the age of 64. Timothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Wortman and Jean Wortman (Lyda); and his siblings, Kathleen Limer, Cindy Betts and Chuck Wortman Sr..

He is survived by: his wife Becky; his sons, Timothy Wortman Jr. (Catie) of Clinton, IN and Kevin Wortman of Decatur; and his siblings, Phyllis Prell (John) of Fort Smith, AR, Linda Metcalf of Denver, CO, Mike Wortman (Mary) of Mt Zion, IL, Dave Wortman (Debbie) of Johnson City, TN and Patty Wiesehan (Tony) of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (2727 N Union St, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
