With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley Vance of Decatur, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Flesch and Bertha Flesch (Ewing); her husband Jack Vance; her son Todd; and her sister Susie Alexander.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Lamson (Steve) of Eagle, Ted Vance of Lehigh Acres, FL, Tina Vance of Decatur and Tom Vance of Decatur; her siblings, Steve Flesch of El Paso, IL, Ronnie Flesch of Mt. Zion and Debbie North (Steve) of Decatur; her grandchildren, Clint (Holly), Brett, Makenzie, Hayley, Cassidy, Ryan (Nicole) and Kady; and her great grandchildren, Kingston, Kinsleigh, Camila and Olivia.
A Mass was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (407 E Eldorado St, Decatur, IL 62522).
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
