Sarah Louise Farrar Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2023, at the age of 87, Sarah Louise Farrar of Decatur, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Doty and Rosa Doty (Poe); her former spouse C. Dean Hays; her husband Glenn R. Farrar; and her daughter Carrie Hays.

She is survived by: her daughter Laura Lowry of Montreal, MO; her sister Barbara Rohman of Decatur; her grandchildren, Shelby Karch-Hays (Phillip Having) of Cerro Gordo and Jacob Lowry of Montreal; her great grandchildren, Emma Rose Lowry and Grayson Lowry; and her stepchildren, Jane Jones of Decatur, Richard Farrar of Decatur and Daniel Farrar (Susan) of Decatur. She is also survived by sixteen step-grandchildren; thirty step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
