She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert C. Merris and Rebecca Merris (Danner); and her siblings, Charles Merris and Sally Todd. She is survived by: her children, Becky Yoder (Jeff) of Mt. Zion and Scott File (Karyn) of Decatur; her grandchildren, Dustin Yoder (Amber), Jessica Winters (Cory), Breanna Skirvin (Austin), Zoie Yoder and Ella Yoder; her great grandchild Harper Kay Yoder; and her sister Mary Coleman of Decatur, IL..
