It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Works of Decatur, Illinois, born in Parma, Missouri, who passed away on June 2, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his son Samuel D. Works, Jr. (Tyree A. Meadows); his grandchildren, Samuel D. Works III and Davina Works; his great grandchildren, Samuel D. Works IV and Storm L. Works; his siblings, Charlie Works (Ethel), Harvey Works (Gloria), Genevieve Adams (Davis) and Faye Hayes; his fiancée Emily Taylor; his caregivers, Paul Davis and Kia Davis (Bonus Daughter); and his extended family, Kendra Davis and Kevina Davis.
