He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lee and Annie Kitt Cunningham (Parker). He is survived by: his wife Laura M. Davis; his children, Carlette Cunningham of Springfield, Eric Stovall, Maurice Davis of Decatur, Taneah Davis of Centralia, Sammie Cunningham, Jr of Decatur, Cassandra Johnson (Johnny) of Decatur and Carlos Cunningham of Decatur; and his siblings, Jerry Cunningham of Decatur, Robert Cunningham of Decatur, John Thomas Cunningham of Decatur, Henry Thomas Cunningham, Mary Bradford of Decatur, Annie Pearl Cunningham of Decatur, Sarah Evans of Decatur, Laura Douglas of Decatur, Stella Douglas of Decatur and Annie Ruth Carney. He is also survived by many nieces nephews other relatives and friends.
