She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Paine and Gracie Paine (Harrison); and her husband Harold E. Schum. She is survived by: her son Randy Schum (Vicky) of Decatur; her grandson Derek Schum of Washington, DC; and her great grandchildren, Drew Schum and Jaxson Mackling.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home - Decatur (2827 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526). A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
