Ruth (Gronemeier) Moorman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth (Gronemeier) Moorman of Decatur, Illinois, born in Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on July 17, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Gronemeier and Eula Mae English Gronemeier; her husband Perry Moorman; and her siblings, Franklin, Don, Estelle, Norma and Beth.
She is survived by: her children, Sally Hamon (Michael) of Decatur, IL, Jack (Cheryl) of Los Gatos, CA, Ted (Jan) of Grand Junction, CO, Jay (Toni) of Prairie Village, KS and Perry Mack (Maryann) of Greenville, TX; and her friend Larry Rowland. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Williamsville United Methodist Church of which she was a member for over 50 years.
