We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2020, at the age of 81, Rose Marie Knott (Decatur, Illinois), born in Shelbyville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, Jack, Bud and Tom Spellman. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill"; her daughters, Dawn Clark (Ted) and Denise Smith; and her grandchildren, Jeremiah Clark, Leanne Clark and Lyndsay (Zac). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the church.

“In loving memory of Rose Marie Knott, My Aunt Rose was the most Christian woman I've ever known. I will always remember her picking me up as a young child and taking me to her home in Peoria. I remember the city lights as we crossed the bridge and baking cakes with her at her home. I don't think she ever missed a year of calling me on my B-day and singing "Happy B-day" to me. Rose and Bill surprised us one year in the 80's with a visit to Phoenix. So dearly loved. So sadly missed. God bless.”
