She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Banning and Francis Banning; her spouse Gailen B. Allen; and her brother Robert Banning. She is survived by: her children, Jeri Vinson of Decatur, IL, Gail Allen (Karen) of Bethany, IL, Jody Allen (Mindy) of Simpson, IL and Lindsay Allen (Kevin Winters) of Jacksonville, FL.; her grandchildren, Beverly Vinson of Decatur, Cindy Vinson of Decatur, Traci Engle (Jeff) of Decatur, Christina Allen Wise of Bethany, Brandon Allen (Montana) of Vienna, IL, Anna Allen and Sarah Allen of Simpson, IL.; her great grandchildren, Alyssa Salas, Matthew Vinson, CJ Vinson, Mirah Powell, Austin Engle, Even Engle, Parker Wise, Ameila Wise and Jacqueline Daniels; her sister-in-law Doris Banning of Longmont, CO.; and her caregiver Kathy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (3800 E Cerro Gordo St, Decatur, IL 62521).
