He was predeceased by: his parents, George Embrey and Alice Embrey; his siblings, Stella Witts, Viola Embrey, Charlotte Connors, Margaret "Peg" Mathias, George Embrey, Thomas Embrey, John Embrey and Roger Embrey Sr.; and his great grandchildren, Thomas Embrey Jr. and Haley Embrey.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Embrey Jr., Charles Embrey (Brenda), Todd Embrey (Dana) and Thomas Embrey Sr.; and his sisters, Dorothy Dinger and Linda Collins. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
