He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hackert and Betty Hackert Sr. (Fogerson); and his brother William Bell. He is survived by: his daughter Stacey Lane (Travis) of Decatur; his grandchildren, Kiley Lane, Colton Lane and Corbin Lane; and his siblings, Jayne Weaver (Dion) of Decatur, Jim Hackert (Connie) of Decatur, Joe Hackert (Diane) of Decatur, John Hackert (Mary) of Chicago and Julie Hackert (Brenda) of Tennessee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
