With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Lyn Hicks of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on November 30, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Virginia Hicks; and his brother Paul Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hicks; his children, Michael Hicks, Tabatha Thurston and Catherine Whitlock (Greg); and his siblings, James Senkiw (Sheryl), Karen Fuller of Decatur, Janice Gearhart of Decatur and Debbie Woodard. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
