It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Renee Francine Saunches of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on December 27, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Copeland and Ernestine Copeland (Chiles); and her grandson Dax Alaric Saunches. She is survived by: her husband Thomas; her children, Nicole of St. Petersburg, FL and Michael (Elizabeth) of Normal; her grandchildren, Scarlett, Kendall and Liam Saunches of Normal; and her siblings, Michael Copeland (Liz) of Moyock, Cecelia Hardnett of Decatur and Jan Reed (Larry) of Detroit, MI.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and many surrogate children.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society or Catholic Charities.
