It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Renate A. Lucas of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Renate A. Lucas to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernhardt Dickneite and Ursula Hamilton Dickneite (Sonnemann); and her brothers, Bernd and Uva Dickneite. She is survived by: her husband Warren R. Lucas; her daughters, Donna Raycraft (Ed) of Decatur, Debra Staker (Andy) of Atlanta, GA and Pamela Simmons (Thomas) of Franklin, TN; and her sister Carmen Baize (Greg) of Owensboro, KY. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
