Schmidt of St. Louis, MO; her brother Richard "Dick" Howard of Hammond, IN; her sisters-in-law, Josie Howard, Maggie Howard and Delores Schmidt; her son Robert A. Schmidt; and her siblings, Albert Howard, Donald Howard, Joseph Howard, James Howard, Robert Howard, Helen Shanks and Katherine Hale. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren 6 great-grandchildren 23 nieces and nephews.
