With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Romano (Decatur, Illinois), who passed away on December 28, 2019 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rocco Romano and Domenica Romano; his former spouse Adelyn Ekiss of Decatur; his wife Dorothy Freeman of Sullivan; his sister Marie Potrafka (Robert); and also, Antonio (Cleo) and Dominic.
He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Schroeder (Chuck); his stepsons, Barry Freeman (Janet) and Larry Freeman (Janet); his granddaughter Terri Via (Darren); and his siblings, Mary Frank (Lee), Rose Oyler (Harold), Benny (Betty) of Decatur, James (Barbara) of Decatur, Frances Richison (Jack) of Austin and Angeline Barr (Dewey) of Decatur. He is also survived by his daughter, stepsons, step grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
