He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Dale and Maxine Marie Jackson (Appelt); and his sister Peggy Micklautz. He is survived by: his nephew Mike Micklautz (Tonni) of Louisville, IL; his great-nephew Nathan Micklautz; his great-niece Abigail Parks (Hunter); and also Michael Parks.
