It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ann Shadwell of Decatur, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence "Bud" and Mildred Braun (Goldstein); her husband Kenneth Shadwell; and her brother Frank Braun. She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa "Missy" Koning (Brian) of Lincoln and Deborah "Debbie" Tague (Scott) of Decatur; her sister Karen Henkelman (Rick) of Effingham; her sister-in-law Carol Braun; her mother-in-law Ruth Shadwell; her brother-in-law Richard Shadwell (Connie); her grandsons, Matthew Tague (Graysie Cook), Michael Tague (Courtney), Luke Koning (Rachel Lockenour) and Max Koning (Alexis Beard); and her great grandchildren, Myla and Maylee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins in her large extended family.
