Brooks (Decatur, Illinois), born in Cerro Gordo, Illinois, who passed away on April 15, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Wood and Bessie Ann Wood; her former spouse Pledger Lincoln Hensley; her husband Ronnie Brooks; her daughters, Debi Slomski and Kathy Derbort; and her grandchild Kacey Derbort.
She is survived by: her children, Albert Hensley (Shirley) of Decatur, Jackie Bundy (Benny) of Decatur and Cheryl McCurdy of Decatur. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Due to current circumstances with COVID-19, private burial will take place in Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery, Harristown, IL on Monday, April 20, 2020 at 10:00 A. M. Norma was born August 3, 1925 in Cerro Gordo, IL, the daughter of Earl and Bessie Ann Wood.
