She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Cruz Sr. and Genevieve Barton; and her husband Booker "Ted" Green. She is survived by: her children, Rodney Cruz (Janet) of Indianapolis, IN, Todd Cruz of Waukesha, WI, Kevin Green of Mattoon, IL and Cynthia Williams (Paul Jr.) of Decatur, IL.; her grandchildren, Jala Cruz, Lamya Cruz, Lyric Smith, Gabrielle Williams, Paul Williams III, Elijah Williams, Jacob Williams, Brooklynn Williams and Christopher Williams; her great grandchildren, Aaliyah Rogers, Iliana Rogers, Izabella Williams and Tyre Alexander Jones Jr.; and her siblings, Valette Harvey of Pontiac, Jacqueline Stanley of Decatur and Richard Cruz of Decatur.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the North Jasper Street Church of Christ (950 N Jasper St, Decatur, IL 62521). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
