It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Ruth Brilley of Decatur, Illinois, born in Lindseyville, Kentucky, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Skaggs and Pearl Skaggs (Vincent); her husband John P. Brilley Jr.; and her son Barry Brilley. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Brilley of Decatur, Timothy Brilley of Tallahassee, Martin Brilley (Sheryl Haab) of Decatur and Kristina Porter (Bruce) of Glen Carbon, Illinois; her grandchildren, Adam, Aaron, Amanda, Megan, Ethan and Stefani; and her great grandchildren, Jameson, Bethany, Carter, Corrie and Porter.
Memorials may be directed to Shriner's Hospital for Children in St. Louis, Missouri.
