She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Watkins and Georgie Powell; her husband Thomas L. Jones; and her son Kelvin Jones. She is survived by: her children, Thurmon Jones (Carolyn), Gearldine Jones, Martha Jones, Jerry Jones (Crystal), Karen Jones (Ron) and Marlene Jones; her sisters, Ethelma Pugh, Christine Watkins and Lorene Jackson; her sister-in-law Ellen Williams; her close friends, Dorthory Bass, Lisa Newbern, T. C. Tolliver, Hazel of Washington and Denise Fisher; her grandson Dane Flournoy; and her niece Paulette Jones. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and a host of neices and nephews.
