She was predeceased by: her parents, George Smith and Mary Hennessee; her husband Lewis; her sisters, Elaine Goble, Patricia Oliver and Barbara Mosser; her son James Lewis Brown; and her great grandchildren, Brittany Austin and Lillian Walker.
She is survived by: her children, David Eugene Brown of Colorado Springs, CO, Connie Jean Mackling (Gary) and Judy Ann Highcock (John) of Decatur; her grandchildren, David Mackling, Kimberly Austin, Lindsey Walker, John Highcock II and Janarra Beals; and her great grandchildren, Dalton, Abbi Austin, James Walker, Lauren, Sophie and Carson Mackling.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like any memorials to be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 3850 Lourdes Drive Decatur, Illinois.
