In the sacred silence of farewell, Marjorie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Marjorie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Wayne and Opal Marie Morr (Turner); and her husband William C. Grubbs. She is survived by: her children, Susan G. Klukis, Steven D. Grubbs (Jackie), Shirlene G. Bowser (Don), Sheena G. Lugten, Stuart D. Grubbs (Robin) and Stacy G. Cribbs (Jeff). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the North Fork Cemetery (5326 N Fork Rd, Decatur, IL 62521).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
