She is survived by: her pet Babycakes; her children, Ryan Cooper of Las Vegas and Erin Cooper-Basil of Decatur; her sisters, Helen Ragsdale (Bob), Sue Barton (Jim) and Teri Hopkins; her grandchildren, Joseph Basil (Carly), Lindsay Basil and Megan Stanzione (Gavin); and her son-in-law Thomas Basil.

Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of Decatur and Macon County.
