It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Joan Drake (Decatur, Illinois), who passed away on November 30, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Heffernan and Mary Ellen Heffernan (Higgins); and her sisters, Ellen Copeland, Paula Keller, Lucy Auvil, Jan McCoy and Judith Snyder.

She is survived by: her husband Roger of Decatur; her children, Danielle Maple (Billy) of Tampa, FL and Jeff Drake of Sullivan, IL; her siblings, Laurie Thompson (Ron) of Decatur and Mike Heffernan of Decatur; and her grandchildren, Luke Maple, Logan Maple, Jaden Drake and Tre Sylvester.
