We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2020, at the age of 97, Margaret A. Gooding (Decatur, Illinois), born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kovorik and Agnes E. Smith (Burns); her husband Robert Lee Gooding; her sons, Michael P. and Brian P; her siblings, Evelyn McDonald, Charles Smith, Joseph Smith and Edward Smith; her son-in-law Ron Wilson; and her grandson Christopher Wilson.

She is survived by: her children, Kathleen M. Wilson of Chesterfield, MO, Robert Lawrence "Larry" Gooding (Linda Fultz) of Decatur, Keith C. Gooding (Julie Young) of Warrensburg, Mark W. Gooding (Rhonda) of Decatur and Lori L. Gooding of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, American Lung Society, or Alzheimer's Association.
