Loretta Umfleet Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Loretta Umfleet of Decatur, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Durbin and Philip Durbin of Decatur, IL.; her husband Raymond Umfleet; her children, John, Cindy Suel (Art) and James Umfleet; her brother Ken; her sister-in-law Sarah Durbin; her sister Phyllis; her brother-in-law David Fleigle; her sister Rose Marie Durbin; and her brother-in-law Bob Hutchens (Leroy Blakeman).
She is survived by: her children, Dan Umfleet (Connie), Bill Umfleet, Mary Sue Umfleet and Cathy Gevock (Chris); her grandchildren, Katie, Josh, Roman, Amber, Bill, Josie Lovell (Mitch) and Justine; her great grandchild Luke; and her close friend David Hazelrigg.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home (2801 N Monroe St, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at the Mt. Gilead Cemetery (455 Mt Gilead Rd, Decatur, IL 62521).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Family Parish, Decatur IL.
