He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Milton and Mary Sayles (Long); his wife Vickie Sue Merriman; and his brother Gary Sayles. He is survived by: his daughters, Dianna Cardwell of Frisco, TX and Dana Sayles of Decatur; his grandchildren, Garrett Sayles of Decatur, Claire Cardwell of Decatur and Ian Cardwell of Orlando, FL; and his sister Linda Paine (Rodney) of Decatur.
