She was predeceased by: her parents, Teddy R. Barnes and Doris B. Barnes (Eaton); her husband Charles "Bud" Whitaker; and her sister Pamela Jean Jones. She is survived by: her children, Angela Lowe (Danny) of Decatur and William Joseph Whitaker of Decatur; her siblings, Cindy Sutman (Don) of Decatur, Vicki Schultz (Ralph) of Decatur and Stan Barnes (Diane) of Oreana; and her grandchildren, Miranda, Danielle and Wyatt Lowe. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
